Col heads up Essential Energy’s asset management transformation including the replacement of the existing Enterprise Asset Management system and defining the role of innovative spatial and digital asset management platforms. 

 

Other initiatives that form part of the work stream being managed include investment optimisation, the introduction of applying monetised network risk to network tasks, ISO55000 compliance, re-structuring of the division to align with asset management best practice, creation of visibility of workbank pipeline and the redesign of the end to end vegetation management function. 

 

Col is a passionate believer in the power of a digital twin and the application of digital modelling to large power networks.
