Mats Henrikson

Group Leader of Web Geospatial Systems, CSIRO's Data61

Mats Henrikson leads the Geospatial and Regulation Group in the Engineering &Design programme at CSIRO’s Data61. Mats has around 20 years of experience as a Software Engineer and Software Architect in the university, financial, health, and now science and research industries. 

 

Mats has lived and worked in numerous countries for organisations such as Sun Microsystems, the University of Oxford, SunGard, and Orion Health. He now leads a number of teams working in the areas of geospatial visualisation and open data platforms, and is privileged to have the opportunity to work with all levels of government to enable the adoption of new technology and open data.
