Alastair Blenkin is the Founder & CEO of Construction-Technology company, ProcurePro - game changing procurement software for Head Contractors. His passion for building technology to transform industries was catalysed in the legal sector. A former top-tier lawyer, Alastair has experienced first-hand the staggering inefficiencies of high-volume enterprise contracting using legacy systems. This fuelled Alastair’s passion for leveraging technology to change the way the game is played.

Alastair Blenkin is the Founder & CEO of pioneering Australian Construction-Technology company, ProcurePro.

ProcurePro is on a mission to make agreement easy – simplifying & streamlining the subcontractor procurement process. The technology provides visibility, controls, consistency and efficiencies to the highly manual subcontractor procurement process, whilst integrating key parts of the Construction-Technology stack. By digitising this function and gaining real-time insights into procurement performance, ProcurePro enables contractors to “buy well” and enhance profitability. Major contractors using ProcurePro include Roberts Co, Hutchinson Builders, PBS Building, Kapitol Group and more, whilst ProcurePro has partnered with global players including Procore, DocuSign, Viewpoint (Jobpac) and MYOB.

Alastair’s passion for building technology to transform industries was catalysed in the legal sector. A former top tier lawyer at MinterEllison, Alastair experienced the rampant inefficiencies and misaligned incentives of Big Law, whilst working in “the business model built on sweat labour”. Knowing that a significant mindset shift was required, Alastair left the law in order to make real change through technology.
