Varun is the General Manager of Operations and Environment at Scentre Group, the owner and operator of Westfield in Australia and NZ. Varun leads a diverse team across Facilities Management, Environmental Sustainability, Procurement and Contractor Management, Customer Experience Delivery and Asset Systems across 42 ‘Living’ destinations. Varun has previously worked on major developments, design and construction and is inspired by the long-term impact the built environment can have on people and community. His focus on technology and the role it can play in driving innovation and change has enabled the team to not only improve performance of Westfield centres but also deliver exceptional customer experiences consistently across the portfolio. Varun enjoys travel, exploring new places and cuisines and also likes to play tennis, poker and invest in new technology outside of work.
