Infrastructure bodies are advising governments but what is their advice to industry for operationalising infrastructure strategies? Should industry be responsible for setting their own direction? In this session, we look at the findings and desired outcomes of the Australian Infrastructure Plan. We examine the key recommendations and strategic initiatives that can be implemented across infrastructure projects and the construction companies responsible for delivering them, such as: 

• Ensuring industry growth through collaboration 

• Adopting and embedding sustainability targets and principals 

• Creating a more diverse and inclusive culture 

• Addressing issues of concerns in relation to global supply chain and material demand 

• Supporting workforce diversity and wellbeing through cultural change
