Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Clough

Peter Bennett (B.Eng (Mechanical)), was appointed as CEO and Managing Director of Clough on 1 February 2016. Peter has over 30 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure contracting service sector. His experience spans contracting business process, operational, and corporate leadership. Peter has been instrumental in the diversification of Clough as a respected engineering and construction business serving the energy, infrastructure and resources industry in Australia Asia Pacific and North America.

Peter commenced his career as a graduate mechanical engineer with CB&I in Australia. During his 26-year tenure, Peter progressed through a diverse range of roles including engineering, project management, business development, operations management, corporate function management and general management. Prior to joining Clough, Peter was President, Oil & Gas International for CB&I, based in The Hague.

Peter is a director of Murray & Roberts limited and a board member of Australian Construction Association (ACA) and Clough Foundation.

Peter is passionate about diversity and inclusion and is an active member of CEO for Gender Equity.
